Daily Maestro — Privacy Policy

In short: Daily Maestro does not collect, transmit, sell, or share
any personal data. Everything you create in the app stays on your device. We have no
servers, no accounts, no analytics, and no tracking.
1. Data we collect
We do not collect any data. Daily Maestro has no user accounts, no backend servers,
no analytics, and no advertising or tracking. We never receive your information.
2. Data stored on your device
The app stores the following only on your device:
- Practice recordings (audio you record)
- Songs, sections, chords, keys, tempos, and practice notes you enter
- Imported sheet music (PDFs or photos) and backing-track audio files you add
- Practice session logs, routines, setlists, goals, and app settings
This data never leaves your device unless you explicitly choose to share a
file (for example, via AirDrop, Messages, or the Files app). Any such sharing is
initiated and controlled entirely by you.
3. Device permissions
The app may ask for the permissions below. Each is used only on your device for the
stated purpose, and granting it does not send any data to us:
- Microphone — to record your practice sessions.
- Camera — to scan paper chord charts and sheet music.
- Photo Library — to import sheet-music images.
- Apple Music (Media & Apple Music) — to play along with songs
and import your playlists, through Apple’s MusicKit, using your own Apple Music
account.
- Bluetooth — to connect wireless MIDI controllers and keyboards.
4. Third-party services

Apple Music / MusicKit: When you search, play, or import Apple Music
content, that interaction is handled by Apple on your own Apple account and is
governed by Apple’s
Privacy Policy. We do not receive
this data.

Music charts: The app fetches public, anonymous “popular songs”
chart data from Apple (iTunes) and Deezer to show suggestions. These requests contain
no personal information or identifiers.

Tutorial links: If you open a tutorial video link (for example,
YouTube), it loads from that provider and is governed by that provider’s privacy
policy.
5. Children’s privacy
The app does not collect personal information from anyone, including children.
6. Data retention and deletion
Because your data is stored only on your device, you remain in control of it. Deleting
the app removes its data from your device. You can also delete individual recordings,
songs, and sessions from within the app at any time.
7. Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, we will update this page and revise the effective date above.
